GMI was commissioned by Temple Torat Yisrael, formerly of Cranston, RI to design a new 18,000 square foot facility including a Sanctuary, Community Hall, Library, Chapel, School, and the first commercial kosher kitchen in South County. The Temple was originally designed in collaboration with Michael Landau Architect, of Princeton, New Jersey. Temple Torat Yisrael's new house of worship on Middle Road in East Greenwich was dedicated on Sunday, June 9th. U.S. Sen. Jack Reed, town officials, members of the East Greenwich interfaith community and rabbis from around the state joined in the dedication.
