Erich Friedrich

Erich joined GMIarchitects in the Fall of 2017 as a graduate assistant while pursuing his master's degree at Roger Williams University. Upon graduation in 2019, Erich joined the team full time. He quickly began working on state projects and is now managing healthcare and building systems projects for varying departments of the State of Massachusetts. He is well versed in Massachusetts public procurement procedures in accordance with Chapter 30B and 149 and has most recently completed MCPPO courses to further his expertise. With interests in historic preservation and construction assemblies, Erich brings a unique perspective to the team.
Erich spends much of his free time volunteering at the Greater Lawrence Community Boating Program located in Lawrence, MA where he learned to sail and was on the rowing team during high school. While attending college, he worked at the boathouse during the Summers and was Waterfront Director his last year at the program.
